3 Smart Reasons to Use Buffer as Your Social Media Scheduler

1. It’s super easy to set up, connect your social media accounts and begin using.

Buffer allows you to set the timeframes that you’d like posts to go out for each social media platform and will recommend posting times for you.

Once you set your posting times, you never have to do this step again.

2. The analytics are wonderful and Buffer notifies you right away if a post starts to take off!

Buffer is truly a company that shows how much they enjoy what they do and they make the analytics reporting process super fun if they see that your posts are gaining traction!!

Buffer stores your posts, making it effortless to re-buffer (re-post) older posts at any time.

Re-buffering posts is my favorite Buffer feature.

When I see posts that did well, I allow some time in between and use the re-buffer feature to post it again in 2 weeks or a month or so later.

3. It’s totally free but upgrading to the awesome plan ($10 monthly) is so worth it!

With the free plan you can schedule a good amount of posts at a time get a certain amount of access to the analytics page for your most recent posts.

For example, if you are only using Facebook and Twitter, you can schedule a full week’s worth of Facebook posts in advance (if you are posting to Facebook twice a day) and get approximately 2 to 3 days worth of Twitter posts scheduled in advance (depending on how often you publish tweets).

However, with the Awesome plan, there is no limit to how many posts you can schedule in advance at a time.

If you will be taking vacation for two weeks or away for a month, you can schedule all your posts and Buffer will continue to buffer those posts while you’re away!

Not only is buffer free but they also offer a free image editor called Pablo where you can create beautiful social media images in minutes or less.

Pablo includes a preset stock of inspirational quotes which also makes it super simple to create inspirational and motivational social media posts.

If you’re not currently using a social media scheduler or finding it tough with your current social media scheduler, I highly recommend trying out Buffer.

A bonus reason I love Buffer is their warm email newsletters and email responses.

Buffer has great customer service, and they treat their team members like family!!

To your success,

Geniece Brown

I may have to look further into this. I thought it was $200 per month and in no way do I need to be that online. I am amazed that over the years, I have spent thousands on various programs and now I use only a select few.
I want hands on, to a degree. Yet, if I am going on vacation, I still want things to post. For me Vacation is no communication devices. Camera only and it is not to be attached to a phone.

      Hi Celea,

Buffer is totally free which is one of the reasons I love it! I use the $10 awesome plan which gives me everything I need and I even have some of my clients social profiles connected to it. Buffer recently created an additional plan or two which would be more for commercial use or for really large enterprises with tons of social accounts.

I’ve been using Buffer for quite a while now, but wasn’t aware of re-buffering. I’ll have to look into that.

      Hi Carol,

Re-buffering is great for getting valuable content shared at a later date and keeps you from having to re-gather the same content. It’s also a life-saver on those days when you’re super backed up and don’t have time to create something new.

I absolutely love Buffer especially their easy dashboard and great customer service. I started off with HootSuite but didn’t like it that much compared to Buffer.

      Hi Apolline,

I started off with hootsuite and it was a bit confusing for me but that was a few years ago though! Buffer is simple – just how I like it!

I joined Buffer some time ago and was hoping it did more with my RSS feed, but it didn’t and I was quite disappointed. Now I am at the free version. I do the majority of my scheduling on HootSuite which I prefer. Good post… oh 10x a day

The free version of Buffer offers lots of value too, but if hootsuite is working for you, stick with it!

I have used Buffer before. I don’t remember all of its abilities. I bet it has changed some. I need to relook at this and check it out. I like the “reBuffer” abilities. It looks like I am not the only one who feels this way! Tx for the remember to check this out!

I use Buffer for my scheduling. I really like the new Instagram feature. I know it doesn’t actually do the post for me, but it’s still faster for me to set up all of my posts in advance so that when I’m on the go, I’ve got my snaps ready.

      Hi Jennifer,

I literally just joined instagram today! Thank you for clarifying as I saw that Buffer was now offering scheduling for instagram but I assumed it sent the posts directly to instagram like my other social accounts. I’ll be doing some playing around with it on this happy Saturday!!
