My name is Geniece Brown and I’m an online business manager who’s quite handy and detailed when it comes to social media and online marketing support. I get to know as much as I can about my client’s business so that I can post content relevent to their industry and customer and help them stay connected with their network online. I support clients who are experts at what they do: coaches, consultants, speakers and busy small business owners who see the benefit in teaming up with an online business manager to help them maintain a consistent presence online! ~ Geniece A few accomplishments over the past few years that you might like to know: 2016: Success story feature on the SCORE National site: Success Stories 2015: I won American Small Business Champion (ASBC) which is an award sponsored by Sam’s Club and SCORE. Each year two businesses from each state in the U.S. are awarded American Small Business Champion. My business and one other business were the two biz champs last year for the state of Nebraska!! It’s an award and recognition that’s given each year by the Midlands Business Journal (Omaha, Nebraska) to 40 entrepreneurs under the age of 40 (in my city and local surrounding cities) for their accomplishments and service in their area of business. I got a few features in their business journal too! 2014 – Article on helping health & wellness businesses – MBJ 2014 – 2015: I wrote a few article features for Strictly Business Omaha Magazine: 2014 River City Six 2014 End of Year Business Spending 2015 Business Planning 2015: I was featured on The VA Handbook which is a site run by Joanne Munro (UK) where she teaches new virtual assistants, freelancers and online business managers how to get started and create success. She also features established virtual assistants and online business managers like myself. You can read my VA story here. Here’s a little snapshot of my personal story and how I got to present: I worked in corporate America for 6+ years because it was that great opportunity that most people dream of after college. And the money was good for this fresh out of college chick. But my inner nudge kept telling me something was missing so I tried a handful of network marketing ventures and with every sale no matter how small, my entrepreneur spirit within kept surfacing. Because of my corporate experience and longing for entrepreneurship, I started as a virtual assistant helping solo-entrepreneurs with whatever virtual back office tasks I could help with. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been one to show compassion and take joy in lending a helping hand. According to multiple strength finder tests that I’ve taken, helping is one of my top gifts. I believe some of my gifts naturally stemmed from my southern roots. I currently reside in mid-west Omaha, Nebraska. -Born in Houston, Texas and raised in Mississippi- My home team consists of two bright kids and my husband that I just love to pieces!! We got our photo displayed at our local airport, Eppley Airfield, Omaha, Nebraska (2015) to represent locally owned businesses in Omaha: It’s not currently being displayed anymore but it was such an honor and fun while it lasted. Thank you Arnold Clark Photography!! When I’m not hanging out with my family and doing what I love in my biz, I stay active.
